First auctionads money

It’s only taken about a bazillion ad impressions, but I made my first money with auctionads today

Interesting thing is that I’ve had about 1,000 ad impressions, 33 clicks (3.3% CTR), and made $0.13.

That’s an eCPM of $0.13

If those clicks had been on $0.05 AdSense ads, I would have made  $1.65.

Small beans I know, but as an experiment, auctionads has been a dismal failure.

(Interesting to note as well, that a small slip of the finger on the keyboard turns auctionads to suctionads - coincidence? ;-) )

Just double checked mine, made $2.78 this week! It’s not much, but I’ve passed the $10 payout barrier. Go me!

Oh, and I guess blogs/seo types don’t make much, as buy and large it’s horrible ads. I generally go for my Wii/Football fans who visit my blog.

This is not the only site I have them on, I have some very targeted niche product sites as well.

Just looking - suctionads.com is available….

Wonder what could be done with that domain name? ;-)

LOL. I’ve got them running on a couple of my sites. Honestly only my fan site is making any money at all. This month I’ve raked in a whopping .44 cents! Rock on! Not exactly a great way to make money. I suppose if I had tons of traffic… maybe? Or if that was an alternative to Adsense? Not so much…

I’m thinking of ditching them alltogether, and going with pure affiliate on the other sites.

Just such a pain in the ass dealing with different affiliate schemes and programs, finding ads which suit the sites etc.

Think yourself lucky Empress, you’ve tripled my earnings! :-)
