You ARE a pro blogger

Mrs. PimpMyPageRank made a smartass comment to me today:

I told a guy I work with that I’m married to a professional blogger who earns (insert a fairly small amount of money here) a month!

After I’d slapped her around a bit, it actually got me thinking.

Professionalism is generally defined as being paid to perform a given task.
We all know Darren, great bloke, top blogger, making a shitload of cash blogging etc etc, but do you have to be making a living from blogging to be considered a professional?

If you have sold a text link on your blog, or even if someone has clicked and AdSense ad, you’ve been paid for your work, hence you are a pro-blogger!

So walk down the street with your head held high, and when someone asks you what you do for a living, tell them you’re a professional blogger!
